Leadership & Involvement

President

The President is the main leader of the club. They organize and run meetings, guide the officer team, and make sure the club is staying on track with its goals. They also represent the club in school events and with the advisor. This role is great for someone who enjoys leading, problem-solving, and helping others stay motivated and involved.

Vice-President

The Vice-President works closely with the President to support all parts of the club. They often take the lead on specific projects or help manage subcommittees. If the President is absent, the VP steps in to lead meetings or make key decisions. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, flexible, and ready to take initiative when needed.

Secretary

The Secretary keeps everything organized behind the scenes. They take detailed notes during meetings (called “minutes”), track attendance, and manage the club calendar. A key part of the role is sending emails to members, admin, and sometimes other clubs—sharing reminders, or scheduling meetings. This position is great for students who are responsible, clear communicators, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly from start to finish.

Treasurer

The Treasurer handles all money-related responsibilities. They keep track of the club’s budget, manage fundraising, and make sure all spending is recorded properly. This position teaches real-world finance skills and is great for students who are detail-oriented, trustworthy, and interested in budgeting or business.

Reporter

The Reporter documents the club’s activities and helps promote them within the school and beyond. They take photos and help manage the club’s social media, board, and marketing efforts—such as creating flyers, posters, or digital campaigns. Their goal is to keep the community informed and excited about what the club is doing. This creative role is perfect for students who enjoy writing, design, photography, video editing, and communicating.
